How I handle your information.

This policy explains what information is collected when you visit zhenaixiao.com or contact me, how that information is used, and the rights you have over it. I'm Zhenai Xiao, a sole consultant based in Montréal, Canada — there is no team or company behind this site beyond me.

What I collect

When you submit a contact form on this site, I receive the information you provide: your name, company or brand, email address, your selections for preferred language, business location, business stage, and the services you're interested in, and any optional message you choose to include.

This site does not use analytics, cookies, or tracking pixels of any kind. I don't know when you visit unless you contact me.

How I use it

The information you share through the contact form is used only to:

• Respond to your inquiry by email
• Understand the context of a potential engagement before our first conversation
• Maintain a record of past inquiries in case we reconnect later

I do not use your information for marketing campaigns, newsletters, or any form of outreach you did not initiate.

Who has access

Only I have access to the information submitted through the contact form. Form submissions are processed by Formspree, the service used to deliver form data to my email; their own privacy policy is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

I do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party for marketing, advertising, or any other purpose.

How long I keep it

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months from the date of submission, unless an active engagement begins (in which case standard business record-keeping practices apply). After 24 months, inquiry records are deleted unless you've explicitly asked me to keep them on file.

Your rights

Under Quebec's Law 25, Canada's PIPEDA, and the EU's GDPR (if applicable to you), you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the information I hold about you
• Ask me to correct any information that's inaccurate
• Ask me to delete your information from my records
• Withdraw consent for me to keep your information at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email me directly using the contact below. I will respond within 30 days.

Updates to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. The current version always applies from the date shown.
